OK- I confess, the real creative success must go to Jen Winston, who gets the by-line for the sponsored story.
However, one of the reasons I'd like to include this piece is that it embodies what good branded content should be. As the narrative is authentic, enthusiastic, and not derivative, the story resonates with its audience and inspires action.
It was a phenomenal experience: co-creating authentic branded content around 3 BuzzFeed creatives' trip to Moscow. The results were exceptional, as we generated a ton of buzz about Kayak's travel tools.
Also, some internet randos said I was cute. I'll take what I can get.
